Moderated and Suspended Servers aka defederated instances
The names of some of the Moderated/Suspended servers might make you think of things you'd prefer not to think about.

Why are some instances Moderated or Suspended/defederated?
One of the great things about the fediverse is that individual instances can focus on particular topics or interests, but still communicate with people on other instances. However:
- Some instances choose topics or interests which revolve around denying the humanity of whole classes of people, or abusing vulnerable people.
- This is the internet, so there's always lots and lots of porn out there. Consider Rule 3: Gratuitously obscene that serves no practical benefit to a discussion is not permitted.
Instances which exist solely or largely to enable content and behaviour which threatens the enjoyment of Infosec.Exchange users may end up restricted or defederated.
